Papers, 1892-1893.

A small collection of letters written to Samuel L. Thorndike, George S. Hale, Edmund M. Parker, and Solomon Lincoln recalling the founding and history of the Union Club of Boston. The club was founded in 1863 by supporters of the Union cause during the Civil War. The letters were gathered for a historical sketch of the club and its members published in 1893.
